Last updated: 10 October 2026. This policy explains how Daniel Chrisostomou handles personal information when you use this website.
Who we are
Daniel Chrisostomou (“we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. He is a physical actor based in London and is represented by Nordlings.
To ask about your information, use the enquiry form or contact Nordlings.
Applicable legislation
We aim to comply with:
- UK Data Protection Act 2018
- UK GDPR
- Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR)
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and message, if you send an enquiry
- Your cookie preferences
- Your light or dark theme choice, stored in this browser only
- Technical data that Google reCAPTCHA uses to score the enquiry form
The Instagram section shows public posts from Daniel’s account. It does not collect your Instagram login or profile. Photos and reels are delivered from our content network. Instagram’s own network may receive a request when an image loads.
How we use your information
- To read and reply to enquiries
- To remember your cookie choices and theme
- Where you consent, to measure site usage or support marketing
Enquiries and email
When you use the enquiry form, the details you submit are emailed so the enquiry can be answered. We use that information to handle your message. We do not sell your details.
Spam protection
The enquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to distinguish real submissions from automated ones. Google receives the technical information it needs to score the request, subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.
Cookies
When you set your preferences we store a consent cookie named dc_consent for up to 12 months. It is set with SameSite=Lax and the Secure flag on HTTPS. A copy is also kept in this browser’s local storage so the choice can be restored.
- Necessary — dc_consent, so we remember your choice
- Analytics (optional) — dc_analytics, plus analytics provider cookies only if you allow analytics and it is configured
- Marketing (optional) — dc_marketing, only if you allow marketing
Your theme preference is stored as dc-theme in local storage. It stays on your device and is not used to identify you.
You can change your mind anytime using Consent Preferences in the footer. If you turn analytics or marketing off, those cookies are removed where the browser allows it.
reCAPTCHA may set cookies on Google’s domains as part of its scoring.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to erase data in certain circumstances
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise these rights, use the enquiry form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
