Hi there! I'm Daniel, a physical theatre and motion capture artist with work spanning from the UK stage, to worldwide tours and film sets. My recent projects include filming for Xbox with the direction of David Fincher and Romain Chassaing, an upcoming announcement for a major brand as the primary Motion Capture artist. And even looking back, my initial work and first experience on the stage started with an award-nominated performance as Joseph Merrick in Fourth Monkey Theatre Company's the 'Elephant Man' when I first started out in fringe theatre.

With a background in Mixed Martial Arts, I have worked as an actor for over ten years with physicality first based approach. Starting from the stages of Camden and the Edinburgh Fringe as a repertory theatre artist with Fourth Monkey, I have collaborated and trained with physical theatre companies including Gecko, Theatre:Re, the David Glass Ensemble and Flabbergast Theatre.

I bring a versatile range of skills to my work. From puppetry, mime and dance to voice acting, singing and love for classical text; I move comfortably between bold, physical performances and quieter, more nuanced roles. Whatever the character, I aim to bring warmth and vulnerability to every role.

My passion for physical theatre has connected me with artists around the world, including Shapes in Motion, a movement and performance collective led by Sarah Perry, who first introduced me to performance and motion capture. Since then, I have developed a specialism in movement and creature performance, creating characters that can both frighten and move audiences. Combining distinctive voice and breathing techniques with a strong sense of character, I bring monsters to life with depth, humanity and heart.

Something that has always stayed with me is the story of the man who was so much more than his outward appearance. My mission is and always will be to show every audience the darkness and wonders contained behind the face, prosthetics and digital data.
